Hourly or per visit

Most cleaning partners charge by the hour, typically around $4–8 depending on experience, whether they bring supplies, and how far they travel. Almost all set a minimum visit — commonly two or three hours — because a one-hour job does not cover the trip. A studio apartment fits a minimum visit; a three-bedroom house with a balcony does not.

Some partners quote per visit instead: a flat rate sized to your home, say one price for a one-bedroom and another for a villa. Flat rates are easier to compare, but check what they assume — a "two-bedroom clean" that ignores your outdoor kitchen will run over. When in doubt, tell the partner your layout before booking.

Regular clean versus deep clean

A regular clean is upkeep: floors swept and mopped, surfaces wiped, bathroom and kitchen cleaned, beds made, bins emptied. It assumes the home was reasonably clean a week or two ago and keeps it that way. This is what a weekly or fortnightly booking buys.
