How to pay with KHQR when you book online

What KHQR is

KHQR is the national QR standard run through Bakong, the National Bank of Cambodia's payment system. Because every participating bank reads the same code, the shop does not need to know which bank you use. One QR, any app.

In practice that means ACLEDA, Wing, Chip Mong, Sathapana, Prince, and the rest all scan the same thing. There is no card number, no expiry date, and nothing to type.

Paying for a booking, step by step

• 1. Pick your service and time, then confirm the booking.
• 2. If the shop asks for a deposit, a KHQR code appears with the exact amount already filled in.
• 3. Open your bank app, scan, and check the amount on your own screen before you approve.
• 4. Approve. The page updates on its own once your bank reports the transfer.

You never type the amount yourself. It is encoded in the QR, so the figure your bank app shows is the figure the shop asked for. If those two ever disagree, do not approve.

Your slot is held while you scan

The time is reserved the moment you confirm, not the moment the money lands. Nobody else can take that slot while you are still looking at the QR. If you close the page without paying, the hold expires on its own and the time goes back to the shop.

If the payment does not go through

The usual causes are dull ones: the code timed out, the app lost signal mid-transfer, or there were not enough funds. In each case the simplest fix is to reopen the booking and generate a fresh code rather than retrying the old one.

If your bank shows the money left your account but the booking still says unpaid, do not pay twice. Send us the reference and we will match it up.
