How group bookings work — one reservation, several seats

What a group booking is

A normal booking reserves one seat with one partner at one time. A group booking reserves several seats in a single reservation: you pick the session, choose how many people are coming, and confirm once. Everyone is covered by that one confirmation, and the whole group shares one booking reference.

That single reference matters more than it sounds. There is no juggling three separate confirmations, no risk that two friends got in and the third didn't, and when you arrive, the partner looks up one booking — not five. For the partner it is simpler too: one party, one time, one policy.

Where you'll see them

Group bookings appear wherever a session is designed for more than one person. The classic cases: a couple's massage booked as one appointment, a mani-pedi afternoon with friends, or a class — yoga, pilates, group training — where the studio caps the number of seats.

On a partner's profile these show as group sessions, with the start time and the seats remaining listed up front. If a class shows three seats left, that count is live — it drops as people book, and once it hits zero the session is full. Regular one-person appointments still work exactly as before — group sessions simply sit alongside them on the same profile.

One person books, everyone's covered

The person making the booking picks the number of seats and confirms. If the partner asks for a deposit, it is paid once for the whole group — usually held rather than charged, with the exact amount shown before you confirm. How you settle up with your friends afterwards is up to you; the partner just sees one paid booking. The deposit itself is paid like any other booking — ABA PayWay, or KHQR from any Cambodian bank app.

Confirmation and reminders work the same way: one confirmation covers the whole booking, and the automatic reminder before the session covers everyone too. The booker forwards it to the group, and that is the admin done. The rest of the group does not need to do anything on KOKSIN at all — being counted in the booking is enough.

Tips for a smooth group visit

• Book early — seats are finite. A class with twelve mats or a couples' room with one table can't stretch, and the popular times go first.
• Arrive together. The session starts as one booking, so a straggler holds up the whole group — or misses the start of the class.
• Count heads before you confirm. Adding a seat later depends on what's still available; it is easier to book the right number the first time.
• Check the cancellation policy. It is shown before you pay, and with a group deposit on the line it is worth thirty seconds of reading.
