Bundles and credit packs — when a package saves you money
· 4 min read
Some partners on KOKSIN sell more than single appointments. A bundle puts several services into one purchase at one price; a credit pack loads prepaid credits to spend over time. Both can save you money — here is how each works, and what to check before you buy. Both are promotions each partner designs for their own menu — a gym's credit pack looks nothing like a hair salon's bundle, and that is by design. Neither replaces normal booking — they sit alongside it.
Bundles: several services, one price
A bundle is a set of services sold together at one price — cut + colour + treatment at the salon, wash + interior detail at the car wash, a massage paired with a facial. You pay once for the whole set, and that price is normally lower than booking each service on its own. Nothing about the booking changes: you still pick a time, and confirmation and reminders arrive as usual.
Each partner builds their own bundles, so what's inside varies from shop to shop. The bundle's contents are listed on the partner's profile, so you can see exactly which services it covers before you pay. If two salons both sell a "colour package", assume the contents differ until you have read both.
Credit packs: prepay now, spend over time
A credit pack works differently. Instead of naming specific services, you buy credits upfront and spend them on the partner's services as you go — pay for the pack once, then book against your balance.
The appeal is for regulars. If you are at the gym every week or the nail salon every month anyway, a pack usually works out cheaper per visit than paying each time — it is the partner's way of rewarding the customer who keeps coming back. It also removes the small friction of paying every visit — you book, you show up, the credit covers it.
Which one is worth it for you
Pick a bundle when you have a specific combination planned: you already know you want the cut, the colour, and the treatment in one sitting, and the bundle prices the set below the sum of its parts. The saving is visible up front: compare the bundle price with the same services priced singly on the menu.
Pick a credit pack when the value is frequency rather than combination — you will be back monthly, you just don't know yet for exactly which services. If you would visit that partner twice at most, the single-service price is probably the honest choice. There is no obligation either way: every service in a bundle or a pack can still be booked at its normal single price.
What to check before you buy
- What's included — exactly which services the bundle covers, or what the credits can be spent on.
- Validity — bundles and credit packs are each partner's own promotion, and any expiry the partner states applies. Check the window before you pay.
- Where it's honoured — if the partner has several staff members or locations, confirm the one you actually visit takes it. That matters most if you bought at one branch and plan to redeem at another.
